The Jeffrey Walker party from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada catches ten YELLOWFIN TUNA ( 15 - 20 lbs. ) and one 20 lb. DORADO. All the fish were caught 14 - 16 miles out from Cabo. The water temp. was 80 degrees. Nine years ago today. The WORLD RECORD 90 lb. DORADO was caught on the EL BUDSTER. The years have gone by very quickly. Yes, you guessed correctly again...Mr. Petrolero. The fighting time was 1hr. & 10 min. They catch two 20 lb. YELLOWFIN TUNA and catch and release two HAMMERHEAD SHARKS. Both sharks were 70 plus lbs. The fighting times were 35 & 45 minutes. They also catch two DORADOS ( 25 & 30 lbs. ) and one 70 lb. MAKO SHARK. Back on the EL BUDSTER II for another day of fishing. David and Mary Helen Bowen have another very good day. They catch and release two STRIPED MARLIN ( 120 & 130 lbs. ). Both were caught on live Pacific Mackerel.
