Photo
is of EL BUDSTER owners Jim Dillon &
Salvador O'Campo at the Cabo San Lucas
Library (Biblioteca). Also pictured is Oscar
Rene Cosio representing the City of Cabo San
Lucas.
In
from of them is the twenty-five boxes of
books that were shipped from Tijuana Mexico
to Cabo San Lucas. These books were acquired
in San Diego. Most of these books were in
good to excellent condition.
The
Dillon Foundation acquired over
eight-hundred books for the Cabo San Lucas
Library. All of these books are in Spanish.
This brings the total number of books
donated by the
Dillon Foundation to the Cabo
San Lucas Library to over
sixteen-hundred.
This
is just another example of how the
Dillon Foundation tries
to make a difference.

From what we get, we can make a living; what
we give, however, makes a life."

Pictured
to the right is that of a local elementary
school in Cabo San Lucas. This is just one of
numerous places where the
Dillon Foundation
directs a portion of charter proceeds. In
early December, the children of this school
were the happy recipients of a new computer.
Check back soon as we will update this section
with greater detail of how you are actually
contributing to such worthy causes as
customers of Salvador's Sportfishing Charters.
El
Budster owners Jim Dillon and Salvador Nunez Ocampo loading up medical
supplies at the Los Cabos International Airport. These supplies were
brought from San Diego. The wheelchair will help a twenty-six year old
single parent (Rozio) who was hit by a drunk driver on her way to work.
She may never walk again, but
this donated wheelchair will make her life a lot better.
This is just one of the many
humanitarian projects that the El Budster owners are invlolved in
throughout Baja California.

A local family realizes their lifelong dream
with the construction of their own "Mi
Casa". Funds for this project were
provided by El Budster and the
Dillon Foundation.
Cabo
San Lucas Library Director, Celia Burgoin
Marron, was a very happy person. The Library
had just received a gift of One-Hundred and
Fifty books donated by the
Dillon Foundation
and El Budster. Also pictured are Jim Dillon
and Salvador Nunez, along with two Library
assistants. Click here

This is just another example of people who
care about helping the people of Cabo San
Lucas, Mexico. The books were purchased in
Tijuana and in Mexico City, then shipped to
Cabo San Lucas.

Here,
Salvador Rivera (ABC affiliate KGTV Channel 10
News reporter), Libreri El Dia bookstore
manager Jose Rodriquez, and Jim Dillon are
purchasing books for the Library in Cabo San
Lucas. Other books were purchased from
publishers in Mexico City.

Here are Jim Dillon and
Salvador at the Biblioteca (Library) in Cabo
San Lucas donating books. Over 600 books have
now been donated by the
Dillon Foundation to
libraries in Cabo San Lucas. The efforts of
the fishing charters have made this all
possible.
